Mr Bandy and his son were both very nice and pleasant to do business with.
Huge shoutout to Bandy Jewelers (next to the library) and Mr. Lindsey! I was trying to get the clasp fixed on my necklace today and one jeweler quoted me almost what I paid for the necklace itself . Thankfully, I kept looking and stopped by Bandy Jewelers next to the Georgetown library . Mr. Lindsey fixed it in under five minutes ⏱️ and charged me only a fraction of the other quote . I’m so happy to have my necklace back on . He absolutely made my weekend!
Notice how all of the good reviews are from 7+ years ago? Exactly. My recent experience has destroyed the original love I had for this respectful, family feel of a nice local establishment. My husband and I stopped by to have Mr. Bandy look at my jewelry, where he spent the next 10 minutes saying "he didn't have time to deal with us" and lying about the pieces and customizations I wanted (I know he was lying, as I have already visited 3 other jewelers who said he was full of a bunch of baloney).
