This small place is a great find for me. I always sought a restaurant that could provide genuine Mexican food. The best Mexican food around is in here.

Is it just the high school keeping your restaurant open? Ha! I played a trick on my wife and told her to "Try the guacamole!" ..then laughed as she ran to the kitchen to spit it out into the trash can! She had to wash out her mouth too. (true story) Seriously, I would challenge the owner to try to choke down a side of his guacamole. Homemade salsa? More like Bandito dog food – I ordered a chicken enchilada, since I am allergic to beef. When I opened it, there was dark reddish brown very stringy meat in it. I went to the counter and asked the dark hair girl, "Are you sure this is chicken?" I did not want to be sick for days. She looked me right in the eye and said, "Yes that is red chicken." Best Deal in Town on Sunday! – The staff is friendly, the food is inexpensive, it only took them a few seconds to make half a dozen tacos and they were all very good and even came with a side of salsa! I will definitely be back whenever I'm nearby.

Best tacos EVER with speedy service, fresh, fast, delicious – This place is FANTASTIC!!!! I HIGHLY recommend it for whoever wants fresh, fast, delicious, and healthy mexican food. One slight correction to someone's review above. The tacos on Sunday are only 55 cents, not a dollar. They are the same quality as the tacos on the other days but for a cheaper price. If you haven't checked this place out, then you definitely should!

Fresh & Yummy! – This place is great! It is family owned and the people are really nice - they won't rush you to order and will help you pick out what to eat (if you don't know or can't decide). They have a great menu and the prices are cheap. I love this place! I never have to wait more than a few minutes for my food and it is always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend it.

Excellent, Healthy, and Economical!! – I have been treating myself to Bandito Taco for 8 years now, and I can sy that the food is incredibly consistent. The menu is very reasonable, and the owner is often working and fun to talk to. The food, is fast, fresh and tasty.....the daily specials change, but I love the Sunday tacos for $1.....a must stop place if you want food that is better than Baja Fresh or Taco Bell

Great fast food mexican, fresh and healthy-ish – This is a great fast food option to taco bell etc. The place is very small in a strip mall setting with few booths, but it's usually always packed, which is telling of its poularity. I think the beans are vegetarian, and they offer no-fat sour cream etc., The service is super friendly (it is a family owned business) and they're pretty quick. The tacos (which are only $.55 on sundays) have quite a lot of beef filling.

Well worth it – At first glance you may question if you really want it eat in a "strip mall mexican food", but once you get in it is well worth it. The authintic tacos are extreamly good. I have not found another place in the portland area that has the quality for the price.
