Huge number of eleico racks and calibrated plates. More refined atmosphere than most powerlifting gyms, but still maintains a hardcore feel. They host IPF events but are very welcoming to lifters from other federations.
I am traveling from the United States to Toronto for a week and Band of Barbells Was extremely gracious enough to host me for the day. They had a really nice and clean training facility very friendly crew and Jimmy who helped give me a tour and show me around was phenomenal. He definitely made the trip out here better. 10/10 Would recommend. Especially if you’re coming from out of country, they are very nice. Thank you again! Hope to see you In the states at my home gym Raw Strength in Michigan someday!
Band of barbells is one of the most welcoming and non-judgemental powerlifting gym I’ve been to. I visited for Bring your Buddy day with a close friend of mine and my experience was seamless and smooth. I’ve been following the Owner Dan for sometime before and I know some power lifters so I knew of the place since they opened and I’ve always been curious to visit. Incredible atmosphere and the owners and staff (Lim) are so friendly and eager to help with any questions and are so knowledgable about everything related to powerlifting and training from the equipment, to competition preparedness and more. Highly recommend to any powerlifters or people just looking to get as strong as possible!
