RecommendedIncredible selection of items and especially clothes from the 40s, 50s and 60s, which are usually hard to find and too expensive. Better than anything in NYC or Paris!
Walk into Bananas and feel as if you are in an exclusive boutique, yet the second hand vintage clothes are so affordable you can afford to shop there! The items are displayed in a tasteful manner that is easy to navigate. Even though the space is small, it does not feel cramped and it is easy to find the right sizes.
Vintage items in excellent condition for reasonable prices and the displays are whimsical and artistic. The staff is friendly and helpful as well
I have been shopping at Banana's since I was 13 years old. It is my favorite store in Gloucester and I visit every time I come home. I always end up finding something fabulous. This is a must see when visiting my hometown. ❤️🍌
Richard Leonard is one of the nicest people on Cape Ann, and his selection is amazing.

As a painter I'm always finding something for myself or something for a model or still life, it's always an adventure.
Love the vintage selections. You have to be willing to dig a little thru the racks, but it's there. Lots of fun jewelry.
