My knotless braids came out beautiful. I was only unhappy with the amount of time I was there. Generally, 2 ladies work on 1 head, getting you in and out in a reasonable amount of time. This time I only had 1 lady. I was there from 9:30 to 5:30, which is not the norm. If I can always get 2 ladies, this braiding salon would be perfect.
I received crochet box braids at this location and repeatedly stated that the cornrow base was too tight, but my concerns were ignored and I was met with attitude instead. Each time I expressed discomfort, the braider working on my hair said “You see?” in French to another braider. During the appointment, someone behind us asked in French why the fake hair was not being used in the cornrow base for the crochet style. She was late but when she got there she started on my head and took no breaks and I loved how my hair turned out.
Customer service here is horrible! I don't know who was responsible for determining the final result of my final payment. I'll fill you in and you tell me if I'm wrong: I had an appt at my scheduled time. 15 minutes before my appt, I was told that my hairbraider wasn't done with the previous client and to come 30 minutes later than my scheduled appt, ok, no problem. First, the ladies acted as though they could do my hair. They moved me to 3 people. The appointment was supposed to take 3-4 hours, which in turn actually took 8 hours. It was Superbowl Sunday and I hadn’t plan on being there all day. They also said 2 people would be on my hair, which didn’t happen. This was my first and last time ever going to this shop. I love my hair but customer service goes along way. Offer people a drink or have a vending machine. They need to do better.
