In a nutshell, this restaurant was “God Awful “ six of us “older folks” went hoping for a good birthday and anniversary dinner. Oysters were sooo Sandy, grouper was horrible, said my brother who eats anything. My sisters filet was basically raw, my filet had to be sent back, never did eat it. Hubbys scallops were awful he said. The only good thing on the table was the guacamole. Delicious! Sister in law got a free lobster for her birthday and it was decent. All in all a HUGE disappointment for our celebrations.
RecommendedLoved the Caribbean grilled salmon (special). Everything was great.
The special grouper sandwich is good so is the coleslaw
First they could serve people when they come in at 915pm on a Saturday night and it says they are open till 11pm......I am a travel nurse...heard Ballyhoos mentioned by two or three co workers so I finally have a night off and headed in. Ordered the filet and scallops meal and the filet was 1/4 inch thick. Very disappointed! When addressed by the manager he acted like there filet was suppose to be like that. Didn’t get full and still paid 15.47 for 5 or 6 scallops a salad and cold red beans and rice! Our waitress was awesome though! Sorry she had to go through that!
