I have Not gone to Any Ballyhoos, that they didn't have GREAT FOOD, and Atmosphere! Love them!!
It used to be that a trip to Ballyhoo was the highlight of our trip to Gainesville but yesterday my wife and son went to Ballyhoo for lunch and the experience was such that we probably won't be going back. Their order was totally wrong and no offer was made to adjust the bill for their inconvenience. Additionally the prices have increased significantly while the quality of the food has gone down. Very sad that we will have to find another favorite place.
Orders were all wrong,sent food back 3 times, 3 year old served raw hamburger, left without eating needless to say. Spoke to owner and he said "what do you want me to do about it" Will never go back.
Burned fried foods, too salty to eat, dry sandwiches, couldn't find the fish in the greasy breading. Paid $120 bill leaving almost all the food on the table. So loud couldn't her people at my own table. And that was before the band started. Awful. One of my favorite restaurants.....now I won't go there again.
This place is fantastic. The service was great and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, especially our server, Trey. The food was perfect and all 6 of us were extremely happy. They even paid special attention to my toddler and brought him extra crayons and things to keep him occupied. Definitely will be back!
Great food and great service. It was a refreshing experience.
