Being an end of life care giver listen please do not let your family member be here or go here period!! We were told to stay away from our family member and not disturb them. Which I didnt. Horrible first shift nurses idk why these ladies would even have a job there. My family member's nurse complained so much about having to walk and let people in and out and really should have called out sick. They were kind to my wifes family during the loss of her grandmother. They treated her grandmother with dignity, respect and genuine kindness up until her final moments. Thank You for helping the family through this time.
Referral made to this facility on a Friday and info was faxed. Received a call on Monday asking for updated info. 5 days after the initial contact the patient was denied because they said he did not meet inpatient criteria when he clearly did...was on continuous IV meds for comfort AND they no longer had a bed. Poor communication and poor professionalism. Qualified for Hospice for QOL nearly a year and a half ago.I got no meds, Drs or care. The nurse was ditzy, fumbling and secretive. I'm now sicker with no meds. They did nothing. They had meds for pain called in and then cancelled them and left. Ballad is horrid. They label anyone and everyone drug seeking. I'm late stage SLE/Bechet's/RA. No comfort care for heart attacks, strokes, acute on chronic pancreatitis. All they care about is money.
