I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Ball Homes. Their customer service has been consistently unresponsive and unhelpful. After closing, it feels like they no longer care about the homeowner's concerns. I would not recommend them based on how poorly they handle post-sale support.
Disgusting company.
My yard was tiny and they won't even sod the whole thing. Even then they did not put down seed and in spots did nothing and if you don't realize it on the walk through you are screwed. Final walkthrough was 30 minutes before closing so it was rushed. If you miss anything (even within a day or 2) they will say "oh well you didn't mention it in the walkthrough" OR they will push it out to the 6 month walk through. I don't think they care about the reviews as they are still selling 100's of properties due to there locations. We bought a house one year ago and gave a them a list of things that needs to be fixed in 6 months inspection. After all the time and energy we gave on working days to get all that fixed from them they did not fix half of them and told they will do it on 1 year inspection. Absolutely the worst mistake of our lives choosing Ball Homes! In 2021/2022 during Covid we made an offer on a spec house, the house was a shell, nothing interior done. I felt really uneasy about the bidding wars and not knowing what it would look like finished. We backed out and I later found out that a power substation was planned to be built at the front corner of the complex (Hickory Creek) and Ball Homes kept the back land rights right behind the houses on the ridge for the huge metal power lines to go in.
