When our A/C went out we contacted Barnes Heating and Air, they responded quickly and assessed the problem with the compressor. They made temporary repairs to the existing unit and recommended a more cost efficient unit and modifications to our previous installation to allow the new unit to perform at its maximum. On June 15, 2021, Barnes rep visited my home to repair my AC system. On his report he stated, Found D/S (downstairs) compressor not running, compressor overheated cooled with hose, check motor starter-good, wiring-good, one lead has been replaced before could not get compressor to run at this time. Found U/S unit low on Freon, added 1.5lbs. I didn't see him add any Freon. He charged me $242.36 for running water on my compressor. We are very pleased with Barnes Heating & Air. They just replaced a outside unit we purchased in 2011 with a new unit to honor our personal warranty by them. We will always use this company because of the personal service they provide for the customers. Great people and services. Highly recommend.
