The mantra at Baleen is "serious food with a whimsical mood", but there is nothing whimsical about the carefully planned interior of this restaurant. Although it is warm and cozy indoors, it is best to dine on the patio, facing the serene waters of the Atlantic. The stone flooring and beige decor make for a wonderful candle-lit dinner, so all you compulsive romantics, reserve your tables in advance - and do order the Herbed Chilean Sea Bass - it is cooked to perfection and not to be missed under any circumstances!

We moved to Naples in December from Maine, hoping to find sunshine. We figured kind people would find us if we let them. Of course the food and servers are wonderful. But it is the total package that matters. If one breathes in all the joy that surrounds it is impossible to miss Baleen's unique beauty.
We stopped there for a drink after having dinner at The Turtle Club. The staff was friendly and courteous. It was dark but the sound of the waves was so relaxing. Great spot. Hope to get back before I return to Ohio.
The food, atmosphere and sunset was spectacular. We were celebrating my brother -in-law's birthday. Cosimo gave us the best service and experience. We will be back.
Amazing from the time we walked in to the time we left.... unfortunately it was too cold to go outside, I'll definitely be back!
We moved to SW Florida from the Washington DC suburbs where we were used to appropriate service and high meal costs. We have traveled the world, and love a wonderful meal . I just read a couple of negative comments, and feel we must have been at a completely different Baleen. We spend Winters at our home here, are frequent diners here, and could not have been more pleased with this experience. We were seated promptly, in the booth of our choosing, and the service provided by our server, Gary, was polite, professional, and attentive.
