We had a good experience with Dr Swanson but their billing department is unethical. Instead of working out a problem with insurance they charged our credit card. And now even after insurance has paid two and a half months ago they still have not refunded us what they charged. In fact their website says we still owe $2000 when they owe us $1500!
We have used Balanced Minds for their adult assessment services, child assessment services, and child therapy, and I can say definitively that their help has been a major turning point in our family's happiness. Each person there has been compassionate and helpful in the specific needs of each person (5!) who used their services. Unfortunately, their customer service and billing practices leave much to be desired. Make sure you receive a ***written*** quote for cost of services. We were charged almost three times what we were told would be the bill, and they were not interested in resolving the matter and were entirely unsympathetic.
