I went to see Dr. Baker due to a severe itching condition I've had for a very long time that has gotten progressively worse. I don't have any signs or symptoms as to why I am itchy... no rash, nothing visible on my skin. If I itched my skin, it would sting terribly, was painful and the itchiness would spread. I was scared of needles when I came in, but found it didn't hurt. Excellent, compassionate care.
What a wonderful place. After a free initial consultation the other day, I had my first ever acupuncture treatment this afternoon, primarily for three purposes: incredible pain in my lower back, in spite of all my stretching and weight training, fatigue, and smoking cessation. I already feel markedly less pain in my lower back. I will do a few more treatments for both my pain and my addiction to smoking cigarettes.
