I have always wanted to go to the iconic Baker's Keyboard Lounge. It has been a part of my life, Detroit life. I learned they had a kids jazz club many years ago; had planned to take my kids but never had a chance. This occassion was wonderful because I shared the experience with family and friends. The food was exceptional. I was hoping for the mellow jazz vibe I have come to enjoy most of my life. It was an experience of God's love and worship.

The parking was good...$3 to have your vehicle in the parking lot is a steal to me! The atmosphere was very intimate, grown and Sexy! The food was delicious! I had a loaded baked potato.. broccoli, cheese, fresh bacon bits, sour cream and butter, it was well worth $10. The drinks to me were a bit overpriced, $13 for a regular Margarita on the rocks and if you wanted a Margarita made with top shelf liquor $20 was the price! The Band played current and past music, kept my interest the entire time!

The food is wonderful. The trick is getting staff to take your order. Came in with a large group today (reservations were made well in advance). Part of the group waited for over an hour to order food/drinks. Some of our group were done eating before orders were all taken.
I celebrated my 60th birthday party there was a little mix up with cover charge my guest were no charge before 7pm if you wanted to stay it would be $15 everybody need to be on the same page when making reservations.But everything else was awesome the food was finger lickin good my servers were on point the band was exceptional they even did a birthday tribute to me which was all good all my family and friends that came made it super special we will be back soon.
