Unfriendly and possibly illegal practices with residential properties. After many years at Hamden Town Walk, starting as an Avalon tenant, I have to break my lease and move on. I am now told, there is no option to break the lease, the tenant must pay a two month rent fine and pay the rent until the end of the lease period. This hardly seems legal, is certainly not ethical and definitely not neighborly or good customer service.
