Before applying, I spoke with a representative, truthfully laying out my credit history and the reasons for it. They told me that if I made 4x times the rent in income, credit history wouldn't be looked at anyway. Sent them documentation that proved that was true when I paid the $50 or so application fee, but then they rejected me on credit history anyway and didn't return the fee. Wasted my time and money.
