My bride and I stopped in Astoria for a day and a half during our 1,600 mile road trip that took us from McKinleyville, CA to Sacramento, CA to Reno, Nevada to Portland, OR then on to Astoria and down 101 along the Oregon coast until we reached our home. We were gone for two weeks and being on vacation we ate out most of the time unless we were visiting family which we also did along the way. We arrived in Astoria on a Sunday afternoon and had decided Baked Alaska was where...Continue Reading

Nice selection of draught beers and bar snacks at happy hour. Prices at happy hour were fine. Particularly good pickled fish, hushpuppies, and cheese curds. Local spruce bud ale was terrific. Bartender gave good suggestions on beers, but mostly seemed bothered by patronage, and really into her conversation with the guy at the end of the bar.
