Get a second opinion on these folks. Be wary of the "financial advisors" who sell commission heavy annuities and mutual funds that pay a cut of 12B-1 fees. Diversification isn't selling a client 11 mutual funds for a $22K investment, it's about commissions. Assuring clients a 4% bond portfolio allocation is safe, isn't kosher.
