This corporate practice of dumping unrelated debt on companies purchased with credit only to fold said companies has to stop!

The American Job killers strike once again. Killing American Icons and leaving multiple American families without jobs. Loading their pockets at the expense of Americans being laid off. Calling you slime would be an insult to slime.

Awesome job killing yet another American institution, and in the process, potentially affecting the toy industry and people like me that work in it from the design side. You should be disgusted with yourselves.

Yet another company you bled dry leaving thousands of people unemployed. The company was taken over by private equity giants KKR, Bain Capital and real estate investment company Vornado in 2005. Together they paid $6.6 billion, but saddled the company with $5.3 billion in debt. At the time of its bankruptcy, Toys "R" Us disclosed it had about $5 billion in debt and was spending about $400 million a year just to pay for it.
