A Joke – Two Filipinos walk into a sportsbar and guess what happens...? ..........................................NOTHING One hour has passed: NO SERVICE, NO RECOGNITION, NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT from the waitress. Worst experience ever. Waitresses are rude! Maybe its just part of being in the South going to a bar where all the servers are white! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!
Great food, great atmosphere, suspect service.. – Been there over a dozen times when it was busy, slow, or what have you, and the only complaint I will ever have is that there is never enough servers working. The food is great, prices are in line with all other local eateries, TVs galore with multiple games, events, tons of pool tables, if you are in to that, and here is the kicker, great music videos, yes if you are a gen X'er of Y you will love the music and you can actually hear it!!..
Great service – Great staff and atmosphere. One of the best hang outs In Chapel Hill. Tuesday is my favorite for $2 drafts.
This ain't brisket – I ordered the "Beef Brisket" sandwich. I do not know what it was....Why, why, would ANYONE cut "brisket" into squares the size of a pea? What is that? What are they trying to hide? Taste- none, squareness- excellent. Don't order it!
Mixed Review – The bad stuff first. The bar staff is probably the worst I have sene in my time in the Triangle. I sat at the bar and waited a solid 10 minutes before the bartender even noticed me. And it wasn't even that busy. Then another started her shift and she also ignored me. The entire staff were too busy chatting amongst each other. Great out of the way place – WOW WHAT A BLAST!!! We went to Baileys on a friday night becuase the other bars on franklin street are all the same, cheap crappy beer, crowded, and just dirty and loud. We needed a change. So a friend of mine told me about bailey's. We went. Nice place. Not too crowded, great drink specials. Awful, Simply Awful – A previous reviewer struck the nail on the head: on busy nights, this place is hurting for service. My wife and I went to enjoy some live music on a busy Saturday night with several friends. We were assigned two waiters at different times, both of whom must have been way overloaded. But the kicker was that my wife ordered a standard margarita and then their special "Kryptonite Rita" and neither time was there any noticeable trace of alcohol in the drinks. Worst Drinks from a BAR I've ever had in The Triangle – For a place that calls itself a "BAR and grill", I drunk the weakest and worst drinks that I have ever paid for at Bailey's in Chapel Hill. Sure, the waiter warned me that their Hurricane typically gets sent back because it's terrible, but - me the being the adventurous one that I am - I decided to take the challenge anyway. Like an A-hole everyone has an opinion and I would say yours stinks – I agree with everything choppercharles said except for the fact that he pretty much stereotyped hip-hop music and associated it with "thugs" and what the clientel base would be because of it. I suggest that he get out of his hole and introduce himself to whats going on in the world today ( More of your young "white collar" college kids are listening to that "thug" music, which is why it is played to keep the younger clientel coming) By the way Mr. chopper.... read more
