My 10-year-old son had surgery today at Bailey Square surgery center in Austin. We were all scared and nervous because none of us ever had to have surgery. But let me tell you this was the best experience ever when it comes to surgery at least. From the very beginning it look like somebody in scrubs that helped us direct us to where we need to go to Nan at the reception desk. She was so nice and helpful. I am pleased to present an outstanding review for Doctor Jason Gooch, his team, the anesthesiologist and the Bailey Square Surgery Center. My procedure was a laparoscopic, bilateral hysterectomy. My surgery was very successful thanks to Doctor Gooch and all members inside the operating room. The team administered Experal and platelet rich plasma for a speedy recovery. Do not use this surgery center if you have a special needs child , young adult or other family member. They do not accommodate intellectually disabled persons whatsoever. This is very disappointing since I was ensured by this facility that they could accommodate my young adult. I coordinated with all departments about the details of our special situation prior to our surgery and the day of the surgery, no one was prepared. The surgery did not take place because of their unpreparedness. Review should reflect zero stars….
I went in for a colonoscopy, generally an unpleasant affair. But, everyone from intake to preop nurses, to nurse / op assistants, all outstanding! Finest care in all the land.
