Never had a bad meal there yet Seafood is fabulous love the oyster Rockefellers
The best seafood in the NY Metro Area if you really like seafood. My wife's favorites are the stuffed flounder or scallops-the scallops are dry and that means they always have that sweet nutty taste. I usually have the soft shell clams which are always sweet and a lobster if they have "full and heavy"(just ask the waitress-they are very helpful) But just about everything is great starting with the free cole slaw and hot biscuits. I used to love this restaurant but after "Sandy",like so many places,it is now different they used to have their Manhattan clam chowder, which was very good in cans that they sold. But according to A waitress the cans were stored in the basement and Sandy ruined it all. You can't get a better view info manymany places on the Jersey shore,and they have a nice little gift shop as well.
Great food, great atmosphere, 100 years in business says everything. My favorite is oyster happy hour, one dollar oysters.
I worked here as a kid growing up in Highlands. I went to a bridal shower here yesterday and the food was awesome! The people who worked here were friendly and our waitress Ashley was the best. She couldn't have been more helpful. Happy 💯 th Anniversary Bahr's. Glad to have been part of the journey...
Food was very good. The service was on point and the view was nice.
Had dinner here last night after a full day exploring Sandy Hook. Everything was yummy. Salmon cooked to perfection. Server was a pro. Relaxed atmosphere and a calming view of the water.
Great lump crab cakes and paella. Mmmm mmmmm good
April are Bartender was awesome!! Food was great all around good experience.
