If I could give zero stars I would I was hospitalized in Upmc East and shady side because my sugar crashes down to 10 at some points Heidi had the hospital do a test on me well it came back I had Glipizide in my system I don’t take this med instead of figuring out how this happen Heidi discharged me from the hospital and guess what my sugar still crashes I went to another hospital and they did this test and rushed the results I was negative for Glipizide upmc lab told me when I called there are several ways this could have b... read more
I have had Hashimotos since 1998 and thyroid was great on synthyroid 25 mcg fot 18 yrs. I developed lots of weird symptoms from Lyme disease with swelling in my legs and hypersensitive to all meds including thyroid medications. After 7 years of a thyroid issues. I returned to Shadyside where I worked for 25 years and Dr Bahl was my Mom's doctor in the 90's. I am so grateful for his help and i am now taking unithroid medication that was used many years ago.
