Get new owners Current owners are clueless
Usually love this place. (havent been in about 4 or 5 months) I understand it's tough times but the salad I got today is unacceptable. A chicken ceasar salad. the lettuce is mostly brown, not a few pieces here and there, a lot. the parmesan cheese is almost translucent, like it has been out since 6am this morning and the chicken is so chewy. so overall, I have given a lot of service to this place in the past, so I'm sad. whoever made this salad obviously takes no pride in their work. So, I'm sorry for the terrible review.
I used to love this place, but they are truly struggling right now. I've been twice, a month apart, and the service is consistently slow and always has mistakes in it. The front desk girl is sweet but extremely incompetent with no people skills whatsoever. I don't think they have nearly enough staff on hand at all! The food was better the second time around, but I will not be coming back here again, which is a shame because it's SO close and used to be so pleasant and convenient.

The bagels are still good but it’s just not the same with the new owners. They’re not friendly, the old employees (who are all fantastic) all seem stressed and unhappy. I watched the new owner bring food out of the kitchen and just place it on the counter, couldn’t be bothered to deliver it for the girls who were very busy. We miss Carl! If they don’t change the business is going to fail. It’s too bad! The Bistro was our favorite breakfast spot.
