I ordered takeout/delivery from BADMAASH Downtown LA and it was an overall average experience. The butter chicken was quite disappointing — not close to authentic. While the chicken pieces were grilled, they were too tight and not tender, and the gravy was noticeably too sweet. Definitely a skip for me. The naan was okay, nothing special. Overall, nothing stood out. Plenty of better options around if you’re craving good Indian food.
Okay AT BEST! Ok place to visit who like Indian food but don't eat it everyday/very frequently/want 100% authentic flavor palate. Butter Chicken was sweet (had read another review 5min before getting there so was too late to make alternate arrangements but that reviewer was 100% right) with extremely large usage of Fenugreek trying to give it the heat, BUT GOOD use of tandoori chicken (so they got at least this part spot on), gravy consistency was ok not what it's actually supposed to be.
