My husband and I had dinner here last night. The beer selection was excellent and the food was tasty. The best part was the service - super nice and attentive without being annoying. I actually really appreciated that the servers shared the area - it ensured that there's always someone around and there wasn't any feeling that you were bothering any of them. We will definitely be back!
Incredible. Beer list had something for everyone. Best put together list I have seen in ages. Chow was excellent also. Banjo pig was superb. Friendly staff and spot on service. Would come more often but the two hour ride makes it tough. Will visit every trip to Scranton though.

This place has been a mandatory stop for the past 3 years. I drove from Florida up to Connecticut, and made sure I stopped at Backyard just to be in this little slice of Heaven. The beer list is endless, the food is superb, the staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly, and the atmosphere reminds me of returning home. This location is very hospitable, and I've recommended it to everyone I come across if they're traveling within the Scranton area.

Great food, excellent beer selection, and wonderful staff. I would highly recommend.
The beer selection was excellent and very cold. Service was fast and friendly. Food was good. I thought the mild wing bites could have had a little zing to them and not taste like thick tomato sauce. My husbands Cuban Sandwich was delicious. Their cole slaw was great!!
