Backwater Jacks is a quaint place with nautical décor and a very Jimmy Buffet feel to it, but the food is far from just a "cheeseburger in paradise". From exquisite Snowy Grouper to Mile high prime rib sandwich, it spans the gambit. We feel that Backwater Jacks is a hidden gem among the many jewels back in Bonita Bay! Shhhh! Don't tell everyone!

A little disappointed. First of all, we made reservation online but when we got there found out online isn’t working very well. Not a problem. Only has to wait a few minutes for a table. Of the 3 specials for the evening, 2 were not available (@ 7pm ???). Not going to comment any further....just a bad experience. Wait Staff was very nice.
RecommendedWe were booked upon the 17.15 sunset cruise therefore too early for dinner as the menu wasn’t available until 17.00 hrs but there were 6 of us and so we ordered every app on the menu,absolutely delicious

What an incredible experience at Backwater Jacks. We had an event there this week and the staff along with Chef Cory went above and beyond to make it a great experience! The food was amazing and we felt pampered from the minute we arrived. Thank you so much for a great evening - we will definitely be back!!

Delicious food and good service. Very noisy in dining room. Would be nice if they had mixed drinks on happy hour. Not a beer/wine drinker.
