Very LONG wait! Sign in at the kiosk for lab work. Estimated time about 30 minutes. Been here for 90 minutes! Totally frustrating!. Be honest. I would have managed my time differently
This by far is the worst walk in clinic out of all the walk in clinics I've ever been to - the ladies that work the front desk are rude and extremely unprofessional and should be working at McDonald's instead of in healthcare , backups hospital is horrible but this walk in at colchester is a nightmare -
I waited for over an hour, then when I asked how much longer it would be I was told I could just cancel if I needed to leave. I would have been in and out of Glastonbury's walk-in by now, instead I'm heading to a family wake in MA having not been seen and with a cough/fever that could be contagious. Not to mention listening to Trump crap on TV in the waiting room.
Absolutely horrible. I'm filing a second complaint against them with the board of health for malpractice. Was discharged when THEY did not show up not me. Then they had to nerve to refer me to UCFS. UCFS referred me back to them and I DID have an appointment with a different doctor and they had the gall to refuse service or even listen to the proof I had I was falsely discharged. I hope to get another victory. The main mental health center is even worse.
They have 1 person checking people in and it takes 30+ minutes to get in when it would take 5 minutes anywhere else. Not to mention the sign in sheet is useless because people just in front of you.
Had to bring my 18 month old in for lab work at the Colchester Backus Health Center, and the staff was wonderful. I had him in his baby carrier, and they worked around this. They recognized how secure and comfortable he was in his carrier, and accommodated him staying in a position that would keep him calm and happy. As a result, his blood draw was seamless, and he didn't even cry! Thank you again to the staff that worked with us :)
