RecommendedWe have used Backroads Reservations for our trips to the hill country. We stayed twice at Valle Escondido and once at Misty Haven Cabins. The owners were wonderful. Both properties were absolutely perfect and peaceful. Great experience! Spencer helped us last minute find Misty Haven. Highly recommend both properties and using Backroads! 😊
RecommendedWe stayed at miracle springs ranch homestead during the labor day weekend. The ranch was beyond amazing. Huge pool with diving, lake, hiking, amazing views. Beautiful we didn’t even leave the ranch only once to get beer. We didn’t even head to the frío river. The staff was great as well. They answered all of our questions/concerns in a timely manner. RecommendedThanks for a perfect, if brief, getaway at Gracie’s. Rebecca was a lovely hostess and we wish her all the best with her next adventure. It was so kind to get a notification about the river being dry (late August, no surprise!) and given an option to cancel. I’m very glad we did not. There is a gorgeous swimming spot just down the road in Utopia Park. The geese were on patrol there, but otherwise we practically had the place to ourselves.
