Perfect place for a getaway. We stayed in the barn with another couple. Close to Mt Rushmore. Quiet and we'll kept campground. Barn was awesome. Next time we will bring the grandkids too.
This place is awe inspiring. The cabins are adorable, clean and well stocked. Close to most everything we want to do here. We will be back!
My husband & son were so excited to stay & explore the area when, one week prior to leaving for SD, my husband had an accident and sustained multiple broken ribs. He was told that "policy" prevented a refund or applying the full fee to another time period. Before you book here, know that "policy" takes precedence over understanding or any willingness to work out a solution.
This place is great! Perfect for our family to all reconnect! The location is great and the area is absolutely beautiful! Thank you!
Absolutely fabulous place to visit! The cabins were clean, well-kept, and very comfortable! We loved the location and ease to get back and forth to Mt. Rushmore and Custer! We enjoyed fire pit each evening and although we spent most of our days off exploring the area, we enjoyed the beds each night! We can't say enough good things about these cabins and the owner was absolutely fabulous! Definitely recommended by our entire family! Thank you for helping make our vacation a remarkable memory for many, many years to come :)
We had a blast staying at the "barn" at the Backroads cabins reconnecting with our family. It's rustic and fun! Lots of space and great for hosting parties! 4 stars because it met our party hosting needs for the family reunion, but finding rest at night without a decent pillow (old pancakes), no water pressure in the shower, or air conditioning made for tough relaxation after days of touring monuments and hosting family events!
