My husband got a groupon and took me to Backfin for my birthday dinner. We made reservations which was a smart idea as the restaurant is small. We had a party of 3 and we all ordered different things. The crab cakes we very good. The Filet was excellent and the scallops we delicious. It's a little pricey but I don't mind that sometimes if the food and service is good. We were not disappointed and will definitely be back.

The menu and food were very good! We will definitely be back. However, our service was less than stellar. Our server forgot our salads and often was inattentive after we ordered. Customer service is so Important. :(

My family and I are big fans of Backfin and Chef Bob. Every meal we've had at Backfin has been phenomenal and the service is just as stellar. Kudos to the BF team for being heads and tails above other dining options in Cecil County!

Well worth a visit to Backfin Blues in Port Deposit for Sunday Brunch! Always 1 of our favorite spots!

Thank goodness I had a Groupon for $40. This place is way over priced and the food is way over seasoned. I had the scallops that were way too salty and had to give them to my husband to eat. They were cooked to perfection but I just not get pass the saltiness of the sauce and the green beans were cold. Thank goodness they kept refilling my water glass. My husband had the rock fish and he said that is was just ok. The service was good.

Absolutely love this restaurant. My parents introduced me to it and then to my husband. Now we drive up from Bel Air just to enjoy a great meal. I have been here at least 6 times and have loved every single meal. The owner/chef is a wonderful cook and very nice.
