The three stars are for the LONGest time ever to bring the food to the table after ordering. When we were seated the room only had two other customers by the time our food had arrived the room was full and maybe ten mins or so after we got our order those folks were being served. The long waiting time took away from our being able to see more of the town and shops! The food was really good and prepared as ordered, I really enjoyed the meal. We had to ask for eating utensils (my pet peeve) and extra napkins.
Very good food ,very nice people ,wonderful service had a fly that kept pestering us but other than that it was perfect , a little pricey but my husband shared the the fish and chips and they were wonderful
I ordered peel and eat "steam" shrimp with Old Bay, a half pound for $13.00. I received a plate of cold shrimp with cocktail sauce and Old Bay in a condiment container. I felt I was mis-lead by the menu and that I expected hot shrimp, instead I received a shrimp Cocktail on a plate with Old Bay as a condiment. I felt I was being over-charged by them selling me an Appetizer at Entree price. The manager wanted to give me "Free Food", but I told him I came there for "Good" food and NOT FREE food! Excellent food tonight. Thank you Ruthie (our server) was great and went above and beyond.
This was our second stop at Back Porch Oyster Bar for lunch. We have our small dog, Roscoe, that comes with us. The porch dinning is pet friendly and we enjoy sitting on the front porch watching folks go by. The ladies out front are great, even Roscoe like them and he is very picky. We shared the cerviche and it is very good. Oyster poboy is my favorite. Just one thing, no alcohol served on the front porch so have not tried the drinks.
My wife and I came down from Tennessee to enjoy a dinner with my son and his girlfriend Saturday night. The Fried Shrimp and Oyster dinners were Excellent. Service was exceptional. Prices were appropriate.

Hands down...the best shrimp and grits this far north of the Georgia coastline! I'll be back again!
Me and my father went in for dinner tonight was seated and got our drinks my father went to the Resturant came back and their were ants covering his glass and floating in his drink.... Disgusting! We cancelled our order and left. Will NOT be back there. Check your glasses and drinks, the kitchen has to be infested with ants for something like that to take place.
