I was totally impressed at Dr Shaws thorough yet gentle first exam of Nina's back which included acupuncture and laser therapy. Not to mention the yummy treats that kept Nina distracted and happy.
I always know that we can count on Dr. Shaw to treat any of my dogs when they are injured or just seem physically out of sorts. Dr. Shaw and her staff give my pups beautiful care during their appointments. Dr. Shaw shows me how to support their recovery at home and sends me with a list of practical exercises. Portland is very fortunate to have Dr. Shaw.
Dr. Shaw has been seeing my dog for over 4 years now. We originally went in after 2 different clinics diagnosed my dog's problems that showed up after another dog jumped on her and knocked her to the ground as complications from her hip dysplasia and advised us to continue giving anti-inflammatory meds even though they weren't working. Dr. Shaw watched her trot around the lobby and said her hips were fine and it was a back injury.
