As you all now I lost my best friend Spencer but I wanna share our story with you. So no one else has this happened to them. My heart is broken and I'm devastated. This veterinarian has showed no empathy compassion or even being caring since June 2nd. He went in for a recheck from his original visit on May 18th. Ms Doane, We are truly sorry for the loss of your 17 yr old dog who presented to us with a severe spinal lesion on May 19, 2020. At that time, along with his spinal lesion, he was significantly underweight and in kidney failure. In addition to his advanced years, Spencer was blind and deaf and showing some cognitive dysfunction. Unfortunately, we are not able to halt or reverse aging and some disease states. They get down to the bottom of any concern and treat the concern vs just putting a band aid on symptoms.
The whole staff at BoT is just amazing. They actually listened to me and didn’t insist that “good enough” movement was good enough, and as a result diagnosed an extremely tricky injury that 2 other vets had missed. Our entire diagnostic and rehab experience was so positive, and I’m just super grateful for all the knowledge and compassion of the team there. 100% recommend them, especially for sport dog teams.
Everyone was lovely there. They were informative and fussed over our puppy like he was their own. We will be spending quite a bit of time there.
