One of the staff (I can only assume) is a thief. A north face beanie was left on a table. It was realised within 5 minutes and when we went back it was gone and everyone claimed innocence. Unbelievable. The food was fine but the service was suboptimal. There are plenty of other places to go in downtown Boston that I recommend not bothering with back deck.

Thanks Back Deck for accommodating 12 of us before the Wizard of Oz. We didn’t even have a reservation. Tom our server was wonderful. The food was great most of us ordered chicken sandwiches and burgers. Thanks again Back Deck

Unfortunately it was not the best experience. We were with a group and due to the size we were provided with a special menu to order from. That was ok... however when you get there at 11:00 you should have your food well before 12:40. Seriously, how long does it take to poach an egg!! The staff knew we had a 1:00 show. Needless to say...only a few quick bites were eaten. Not a way to enjoy a meal!
