No Way! I have had poor luck with this company! They are constantly coming up with reasons for "pop inspections" - fire, mortgage, insurance etc. LIES! The crazy woman in the office then sends rude letters about imaginary "violations" - they are trying to get rid of tenants paying fair rent amounts to up the rent drastically. Those who live here already won't pay higher rents as the building is run down, old, has no water pressure, gets very damp in the winter (ground floor literally leaks in a hard rain!) has bugs! We are incredibly disappointed with Bachtel Property Management. We loved our apartment in lower Queen Anne and lived there for three years until we bought a house. During our three years there we were excellent tenants and rarely needed to call upon Bachtell Property Management. The first time we called them is when we realized they had been overcharging us for utilities for nearly two years. We were embarrassed it took us so long to notice that things didn't add up. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM – When it came time to move out of my apartment I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and ethics of the owner and Bachtel Propery Management. I provided the owner with notice of my intent to move out. I asked that correspondence be in email. She ignored my request. The owner and I spoke regarding a move out inspection she said Bachtel property management would contact me. I provided her with my contact information.
