Bar/Restaurant Offering an extensive Mexican menu in their upstairs restaurant, and a good pub menu in the bar area downstairs. Bacchus has a very large selection of bottled beers available. There is a pool room located next to the bar area. This is a very kid friendly place. The prices are very reasonable and the food is very good.
restaurant A cool looking restaurant, with its huge windows overlooking the street. Live music all the time and friendly service, and when your done, go nextdoor and play a game of pool!
Nice place Pretty good food, one of the few places that has a bar while still being a perfectly acceptable place to take the kids. There's a nice pool table and dart board in the back, which is fun for kids and adults, and for a more demographic specific activity, their alcoholic beverage list is simply enormous. The pricing could be better, but this is still a great place to hang out with the guys (or girls) after work, amongst other uses.
Good Mexican Food Decent food in a bar-like atmosphere. Yep, you can take the kids here but sometimes their feet stick to the floor.

I recently ate at the establishment Bacchus in New Paltz today and I was disappointed. It was not as I remembered last time. I had a hamburger which tasted like the quality of meat was terrible and as if it were left out. The Pork Ribs tasted old and not fresh. And the Salsa was almost turnt and almost bad it seemed. I’m not sure if the head chef changed or if anything changed but it may be worth looking into. Thank you. My apologies.
