Wow... went there a couple days ago. I had the seafood enchilada which were good. Wife had the Ceviche. The Ceviche was way to sugary. The enchiladas as I said were tasty. Not a fan of the "from a bag" type chips but the salsa is good. The drinks... were horrible. The Prickly Pear margarita on the rocks was undrinkable. Tasted like a cross between black licorice and cough medicine. The regular Margarita on the rocks was way too sweet. The Mexican Martini was drinkable, but not up to Trudys standards nor mine. Can not imagine... read more

The perfect balance – We thought we would take a break from our walk and stop in for a margarita at the bar and ended up staying for lunch. Their margarita is the best I have ever had! Not too sweet and not too tart, the perfect balance. The bartender mentioned fresh lime juice.Their soup was outstanding! I liked being able to add the cheese, cilantro and onion. The portion is definitely enough to share or a meal in itself. We also had the fish tacos which were very delicious. They didn't skimp on the fish and I loved the ad... read more

I love this place. Great View outside, the flaca platter and the shrimp con queso appetizer is awsome. The platter is a giant burrito with chicken and chz chz chz! Then, they put a tomato based sauce on top &more chz! Comes with rice and beans. The appetizer is baked. It has shrimp, cheese, mushrooms, & onions. I opt out the mushrooms & onions when I order it as a meal but when I'm sharing it, it's not hard to get around what you don't like. It comes with warm tortillas. A lot of people come for the margaritas, but I luv the... read more

I never thought to get a Mexican martini anywhere else but Trudy's before... But the Mexican martinis at Baby A's are so much better; they're tastefully dirty dirty and worth coming for alone! I can't believe people are impressed with the purple drink when they could drink this instead. I had migas when I ate there. They allowed me to substitute the sauce that came on them for queso and it was buttery and delicious. I can't wait to go back! You gotta try it :)

DELICIOUS TORTILLA SOUP!!! I vote Baby Acapulco the best Tex Mex in Austin. I call the tortilla soup at Baby A's "The PHO of the Southwest!". The savory chicken tortilla soup is accomodated by avocados, cheese, spanish rice, cilantro, and extra corn tortillas. You can add the cheese, spanish rice, cilantro, and extra corn tortillas to your liking. Baby A's also has amazing margaritas and we even met some cool people there. I highly recommend Baby Acapulco's!

We only went for drinks & appetizers. Quite frankly the place doesnt look like much so we figured it would be awful from the start. Turns out we had the nicest waiter!! (I believe his name was John?) and the appetizer platter was AMAZING...it was so so good. :D The drinks were nothing special but they weren't bad.

Eureka! The best margarita on the planet!: Authentic Mexican Food- generous Texas-sized portions of fantastic food the owner learned from his Mexican Grandmother- you won't find this variety or style in any other Mexican restaurant. Great Service- friendly servers- and the food most certainly not pre-pared! Don't leave town without trying a margarita- Patrone tequilla makes the difference!
