We were on our way home to Michigan coming from Montana, towing our toy hauler when our rear differential went out. We were given B&L’s number by another shop that did not touch rear diffs. Being from out of town we don’t know anyone so we are hoping to be steered in the right direction. The other shop out as at the right place. Took my 2006 Ford Explorer there with major mechanical and transmission issue. Transmission not shifting right, cruise not working, 4x4 not working, if you throttled the engine up a bit In park it would rev to max throttle where you had to turn the ignition off before she blew. Everything pointed to the transmission electronics. Finding new 6R60 transmission parts for a 2006 Ford Explorer Limited with the V8 engine and heavy duty tow package was difficult.
