Taste was a 5! The bun was excellent. Just wanted the tenderloin itself a bit thinner (like they were made during the late '50's and early '60's!) Definitely will be back.
The food was great as was the service. Staff are friendly and make you want to come back again. Real down home feel that I enjoy.
1st time there today and i will be back bugging john! He was awesome! Sat me down and i watched him cut me a brisket i could take home to brine for corned beef. Killer sandwiches to. My new favorite place in des moines. Worth the 20 or so minutes to get there from grimes. They all make you feel welcome...love this place !!!!!

First time I've ever been here was today....LOVED IT!!!!! Food is phenomenal and there is nothing better than being in a place that makes you feel like family and friends from the first time you step in. New customer for life!
