I sent my husband in to pick up a prime rib for a birthday dinner I am making this weekend. He left empty handed after the guy brought one out and my husband cracked a joke about buy one rib get 4 free. This guy decided to be a jerk and put it away because he didn't find it funny. Just met John, the 3rd generation owner of B&B. Amazingly cool place. I have finally found my butcher in Des Moines.
What an experience. We went there to spend a gift certificate. Walked out spending more that the certificate. Was fed for two hours. Had a ton of laughs. Got to buy my meat cut directly from the steers hide. And made a new friend. And I have a butcher that I can buy the freshest meats in town. Call Jon. If your buying your meats from somewhere else....your making a big mistake.
