In the charming little town of Ojai, Azu is one of the best places to have dinner. A very warm and inviting atmosphere is matched with outstanding service and tasty food. Homemade gelato and a friendly, uncrowded bar make this establishment a great choice for groups of friends or more intimate dates.

My husband and I had an excellent meal at Azu. The food was as advertised at www.azuojai.com. Family-run place in renovated historic building. Check out the ornate bars.
My dining experiences at Azu have been nothing less than exceptional. Azu is charming. It offers unique dishes and fine wine at a reasonable price and provides an atmosphere fit for a casual or fancy dining experience. I frequently visit Azu and have celebrated two birthdays there. The wait-staff is attentive and the owner is personable. Although all the dishes have been exceptional, I recommend the stuffed dates, chilean sea bass and the berry tartlet!

great! – My brother and planned a Valentine's celebration for our wives but neglected to account for how difficult it would be getting a table that night. To my horror, my brother suggested we just get pizza... Luckily I prevailed and we walked down to Azu, just to see if you all could squeeze us in. Indeed they could AND did. Many Thanks! – Our Ojai wedding took place on New Year's Day and we booked the entire restaurant for our reception. I grew up in Ojai, so I was completely confident about the quality of their food and atmosphere.
