Not worth it – I went here with a group of friends and the food was decent, the decor was cool, but the drinks were overpriced and underliquored. The wait staff was not patient and treated us like children. If you intend to eat the rest of the week or buy gas for your car- do not eat here! The prices are way too expensive for a "family style" place and the food and strain on your pocketbook is not worth it.
OH PLEASE!!!!! – I went to Aziza for the first and last time last weekend with a large party celebrating a friend's birthday. The food was mediocre at best, wait staff rude and gave the "I am too cool to wait on you" vibe. The seating was cramped and uncomfortable, they seated 11 of us at 3 tiny round tables. And when the check came, I felt literally robbed! Don't waste an evening or your money!
Way too overated – The seating was extremely uncomfortable. the tables were too short and the chairs were uncomfortable. The staff was rude, in addition. Drinks were highly overpriced, $10 for a bad tating, weak mojito. I have eaten at much better places for a lot cheaper. However, we did do a family style dinner, which was $40 per person, you may be able to eat cheaper if you don't choose this option.
an evening to remember – A group of us dined here for a birthday party and it was fantastic. We had an amazing multi-course dinner that knocked our socks off. And the service was friendly and efficient. Having thought the host was rude on a previous visit, we were pleasantly surprised with the new hostess.
fun, but overrated – Overall the experience was ok. I made reservations for a Thursday night at 7:30pm, but when I arrived there was no one there. I was seated quickly, and the service was great throughout the night. Neither my date nor I had had Morrocan food before, so we both had a good time trying out the new food. But the drawback was that this place was overpriced and there weren't that many customers in the restaurant. Although it could be a romantic place, it was a bit too empty and casual for a romantic dinner. The ... read more
overpriced – the food is wonderful, very exotic and all but 12 dishes and they charge $500? come on! we didn't order any drinks and it wasn't filling either. we made reservation but there were enough chair for us, some of us had to sit on a foot stool! hey, we made reservation - if you don't have enough chair please decline, no one wants to sit on a foot cusion. serverwas nice enough. there were belly dancer come and go, finger bowls... (atmosphere is great) but the food itself was not so top-notch! it is more of a entertain... read more
Fun and Delicious – On a Monday night, we ate dinner in a rather full and lively main dining room. The service was excellent, the wine list is only decent, the food was delicious. If you are looking for traditional Moroccan food, this is not the place. But for a delicious Moroccan nouveau experience with great service in a warm and inviting environment, this place is great. We'll be going back with friends next time.
Good Moroccan, not great – While I certainly had a good time here, I won't go back. The reason being that while the food is good, it is only just good and it is very over-priced. At Monsuer on California, we had a similar experience, but everything was just a little better. The service was better. The food was better, the price was (slightly) better. So for pretty much the same experience, we had a better time. Still, like I said, it is not bad here, but just not great. Also, for a "romantic" restaurant, it was very loud and... read more
