The owner Kappitola scammed us out of our deposit of over $3k - lied over and over about a check being sent to us and then stopped replying to messages. They were referred to us by hospice and staff seemed to be completely uneducated on the dying process. Received a text from an aide saying that the hospice nurse was killing our family member (again in the active dying process) by giving morphine and diazepam. Horrific. My mom (who is a challenging patient to say the least) has been in the care of Azalee caregivers for the last two months and I have nothing but the highest praise for every single one -- with a special shout-out to Sabrina and Marsha. Moreover, when we were in an impossibly tight spot, the agency came through for us and has worked within our budget to provide an incredibly high standard of loving, compassionate care to my mom, even in the most difficult circumstances.
