Leaving this review causes me deep concern as there are some very good folks who work at Azalea. However, as a current patient, I can’t express enough how disappointed I am in their complete lack of attention regarding my case. I am a disabled veteran, and have serious orthopedic issues. The VA is trying to get me connected with a provider care specialist can not move forward until azalea provides them my most recent MRI’s. My wife was called this afternoon and told her surgery appointment tomorrow morning was given away to someone who needed it more than her. She didn't even have a say in it. We purposely scheduled her surgery before the end of the year because our deductible was met, not to mention how much pain she is in. To make matters worse the lady that canceled her surgery was trying to make her feel guilty that she wasn't happy to give up her appointment. Saw Dr Raabe on 12-29-25 for 5 mo follow-up on SI fusion(left sacrum). X-ray shows Inflammation so dospak ordered along with continuing exercise regimen and staying with meds to complete the healing process. Bill Minyard
Everyone here is fantastic, but a special shout out to Dr Merrick & his team. My husband and I have been dealing with the VA for three years. I had to go through years of complaints to get a community care referral. We saw Dr Merrick July 30th & my husband had his spinal fusion done July 31st. That’s not typical, but they had a last minute cancellation & my husband was so bad that they bumped him to the top of the list.
