Honestly, Staff is kind, very kind. Every person kind. Questions and Emails are responded to. I am just at a lost for what is happening to my funds. They were already released to the Attorneys. I have called and my lien info has been cleared. I was told that Accounting has to finish up, but I am not understanding the hold up. I keep getting told 60-90 days this week, but I was told 60 Days ago, I was told, 60-90 days. So, I am still being told same time frame, but what is left to do.
This law firm handled my 3m earplug case and is holding on to my money to collect interest..I have yet to be paid. They are also charging what I feel like higher fees then other firms..Their communication doesn’t help and I would not recommend them to anyone !
I have sent in all my documents and everything. Whenever I get close to the finish line your damn law firm moves it back. First, you ask me for a shit load of paperwork. I sent it two times and then got my results to only be told I am getting downgraded and no money for years. I am tired of this shit and what my money so I can be done this this law firm. Excellent and great to work with. I would go to them in the future if they could help me with another case.
They start strong to get you to sign on the dotted line with them, then communication slows down, then after settlement communication is dead except for the occaisional Q&A video that doesn’t vibe with what others are saying and doesn’t even come close to lining up with what the settlement administrator has posted. This law firm is terrible ! They act like they want to help you and when you sign up they ghost you! I was yelled at by one of their minions and told me fifo numbers don’t matter after you fill out supplemental forms ! They are treating veterans who served this country like crap ! They just want to collect the money from each time 3m distributed it and then keep it in escrow to collect as much interest as they can before they give it to the veterans ! My Mom was contacted regards the mesh lawsuit and reluctantly decided to reach out to the firm and join the lawsuit because she went through a horrible experience with the mesh for years that ended up never healing in her body causing her all kinds of problems. Takes 40% percent of your settlement and give you the cold shoulder on your payout unless you raise an enormous stink and call and complain. They just invest your money for a long time before you get any. Bad customer service AFTER the settlement is finished, but before they are fast talkers and seem ok. Do not trust AWKO.
After several years of filling out paperwork immediately on the spot and doing everything that Asked of me with my case locker , I was told in Jan of this year my payout would come in 2024. They presented me a choice. Take the expedited payout and I get 10,000 settlement this year or deferred where it could possibly go up but would be beyond 2024. I chose the expedited.
