The Madison County Farmer's Market is one of the oldest institutions still in business. The market started out in the basement of the Madison County Courthouse as early as 1814. The market has been moved many times over the years before the present building was constructed in 1984. Two spaces at either end of the market building are provided for commercial vendors that buy and sell a variety of produce. A must, we have a place on lake Memphremagog, this is a must go destination every Saturday morning, all organic, bio, tasty, music, best baker in the world... go you will not be sorry.
Let me tell you, their Amish tomatoes are the bomb! I could eat like 2 of them a day Going to get some today!!! Yummmm!
They were the only farmer's market open today. There was a Facebook post today on this page that said they were open from 8am to 1pm. We arrived around 11:30 to see that they were closed for the holiday. I posted comment about the hours under the post questioning the difference in the Facebook and on the door. Now I see the entire original post had been taken down as if it didn't exist. I understand things happen but not updating the hours and then taking the post down without addressing the issue seems very unprofessional.
