About this business
The Madison County Farmer's Market is one of the oldest institutions still in business. The market started out in the basement of the Madison County Courthouse as early as 1814. The market has been moved many times over the years before the present building was constructed in 1984. Two spaces at either end of the market building are provided for commercial vendors that buy and sell a variety of produce. RecommendedGreat produce available! Everyone was kind. I had my hands full and dropped our watermelon 😫😫 my son started crying bc he wanted his watermelon sooo bad! They came right out and gave me a new one for no charge, and kindly cleaned up the mess. Great experience.
I was over charged $90 and no one will help me take care of this issue. The employees make excuses and the Owner is never reachable. 5 weeks have gone by and they still refuse to take care of this matter. I was forced to cancel my card which causes a number of problems if you have anything come out “automatically” each month. I don’t recommend this Farmers Market!!!

I have been shopping with the Ayers family for over 40 years now and will shop them until the day I die or they close. Best Fresh Vegetables I have ever eaten!
