Management is helpful and the techs are friendly and knowledgeable. 4 stars because the dispatch team could use some work.
Tough time writing this as I have typically been a happy customer, but I thought I'd share some recent experiences. For years, we have had oil delivered and service scheduled with Ayer Oil, now Haffner's. I have no complaints or regrets with the oil prices and delivery service. Never an issue with deliveries and their pre-buy program has saved me some money. Ayer Oil (now part of Haffner Oil) offers a mixed experience. Their technical service is good - the furnace technician was thorough, and oil delivery staff were professional. However, their customer service needs major improvement. As a new customer, I found phone interactions unfriendly and dismissive, with poor communication about their process. Why did Haffners have to buy the company
Recently my burner went out overnight and we woke up to a cold house. I called at 6:30am on a Sunday morning and the technician was here in 45 minutes. He needed a part, which he had in the van, and the repair was made in 30 minutes. Consider that excellent service and much appreciated
