I was referred by a friend and could not have been more pleased from start to finish. Have been back in Richmond for several months and can now check off "find trustworthy and fair priced mechanic" off of the list! The owner even took the time to stop and explain that it has been family owned and operated since his Father opened it years ago. WOW! I broke down about 10-15 miles away from the shop and Axselle's sent a tow truck to pick me up, replaced my serpentine (timing) belt, and replaced my coolant reservoir. I was reasonably expecting a bill of over $1000. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a bill for less than $200. Dave Axselle and his entire staff are courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient.
